Community Solar Sales Analyst

Position Summary
Nautilus Solar Energy’s (“NSE”) Community Solar Sales Analyst will be responsible for supporting the sales team in processing sales, onboarding new customers, maintaining sales data on the platform, market research, processing AP, reporting, and additional support tasks as needed. This position reports to the Community Solar Sales Manager and is currently remote.
Responsibilities:
- Process all sales and customer onboarding in collaboration with brokers, third parties, and platform providers.
- Run commercial credit checks using provided data from third-party sales brokers.
- Manage backend platform data, collaborate with platform personnel, and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Manage daily broker support and attend weekly broker meetings.
- Provide monthly internal and external reporting on overall subscriber acquisition metrics, needs, trends, and budget progress across all projects.
- Process all invoices and ensure all payments are made ahead of contracted deadlines.
- Create and submit quarterly updates to track utility rate changes across all markets.
- Create and manage customer acquisition scoreboard to track progress across all projects, past and present.
- File and maintain all commercial contracts, customer documents and credit profiles on sharepoint.
- Create and manage broker scorecards to track 3rd party broker performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- College degree or relevant experience; Business, Communications, Marketing or Environmental Studies majors preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of business development and sales strategies
- Awareness of and interest in renewable energy preferred
- Ability to work independently in a team-oriented and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Working knowledge of Excel, word, PowerPoint, Power BI+
- Possess analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with various levels and functions of the organization as well as with external parties such as customers
- Project-oriented with a goal to complete assignments on time
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
